"Reading Under Starlight" is a 24" x 36" original acrylic monochrome painting that came straight from the quiet magic I feel when reading a really good fantasy book. This piece was inspired by one of those book series that stayed with me long after I finished the last page, the kind that makes you want to live inside the story just a little longer.
There's something so freeing about imagining landscapes and moments where starlight feels alive, and where reading under the night sky surrounded by glowing candle light and hidden items takes you straight to a fantasy realm.
Creating this piece was also a way for me to express how reading and art are deeply connected in my life. Books spark the ideas, and painting lets me hold onto them a little longer—translating what I felt into something I can see and share.
